Amazing location and beautiful property. Very charming, clean and tastefully decorated. Wonderful base from which to explore The Long Mynd. Alex was a very responsive and helpful host and made us feel extremely welcome. Highlight was the very friendly cat (Iris) who was a most welcome and talkative guest! I have lived in the US for last ten years and this was the perfect spot to get my fix of beautiful English countryside.

Lovely place which was tucked out of the way in the Shropshire hills.

Great cottage for visiting Shropshire and the surrounding areas, particularly Carding Mill Valley (lovely walk along the stream with a reservoir for swimming, and cafe) and the Long Mynd. Inside the cottage the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were really nice, clean and fresh. Log burner would be great in the winter time.

Very rural location, ideal for exploring the many walking options. The cottage was exceptionally clean, comfortable and well appointed. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

A great homely and quirky place to stay. The Nest was perfect for our weekend in Picklescott with friends. The local pub is a good 10 minute walk away and serves great food. It is a true gem of a pub. The Nest, is very well laid out, comfortable, clean and cosy inside and set within a beautiful courtyard. This is a brilliant place to stay to explore the wonderful area and enjoy walking and exploring Shropshire. Thank you Alexander.

What an absolute gem!We really loved staying at Dove Cottage.The cottage is cozy & comfortable. Perfect for us & we felt very much at home. It’s very quite & peaceful.Thank you for the eggs & the bath salts. Such thoughtful gifts.The countryside is stunning & we loved seeing all the wildlife in the area.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & loved exploring the area. We had a lovely stay in Picklescott. Alex was a great host and the place was stunning. The living room/kitchen is quite small but ideal for my sister and I for the weekend and the bedrooms and bathrooms are amazing - really spacious and super clean. it's a great location in walking distance to the local pub and close to lovely towns to visit and great walks. We did stiperstones and really enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend a stay here.
